CHAPTER 6

Show me the way!

Theory is amazing! But what happens when we are the ones to train others in preventing online hate speech through critical thinking processes?

Teachers and education providers in the formal invironment, as well as trainers and youth workers in the non-formal education world, are always burden with the responsibility to make an impact to their audience – young people are expecting from them to efficiently transfer their knowledge and communicate their message to them as the final beneficiaries of this process. Therefore, it is more than important that you as FE or NFE providers feel confident to open up your knowledge to your young audience, use the right tools to achieve maximum results and finally be able to attract young people, engage them in the process of critical thinking in the battle to prevent online hate speech, as well as make a change from your own position of “authority”. If this sounds too complicated and –maybe- a little intimidating with all these HOWs torturing your mind and questioning your abilities to succeed…there is no need to worry!

We have prepared complete and detailed Session Outlines to match all your needs in your youth work: short sessions, long trainings or initiatives to integrate the School of Critical Thinking in the school curriculum!

THERE YOU GO!
